Computer Diagnostic: Performing this procedure allows us to determine if an electrical component is affecting the transmission shifting or overall performance. A scan tool is hooked up to review the computer systems data. We are then able to retrieve any trouble codes and determine probable cause. This will help us determine if a problem exists inside or outside of the transmission.

Multi-Check
Consists of:

1. Fluid Inspection
Checking the level and condition of your transmission fluid may be one of the most vital steps. A low fluid level may indicate that a leak is present. While burnt or contaminated fluid may point to overheating or internal breakdown.
2. Road Test
This is a 2-part procedure and the most detailed portion of the multi-check.

a. General Condition: This is a stationary test that allows us to determine the transmission engagements. It also allows us to rule out any transmission related noises.

b. Driving & Operating Conditions: This driving test allows us to focus on the transmission-shifting pattern. We determine whether the transmission is shifting early or late. It also helps us determine if the shifts are harsh or soft. All of the informative information helps in determining the transmissions overall condition.
3. External Inspection
This test allows the technician to inspect the transmission neutral safety switch, engine vacuum. TV/detent cable, manual linkage indicator, clutch adjustment, & overall condition.
4. Pan Inspection
Dropping the transmission pan allows us to get an idea of the internal condition of the unit. The technician is able form this idea based on the pan appearance.
5. Repair Recommendation
Once the multi-check is completed we able to determine if a transmission repair is needed. If a repair is needed the result of the multi-check will help us determine if an out of car or an in car repair. Once that is determined the customer will be presented with an estimate for the recommended repair. All repairs are backed by warranty.
